Welcome to UA Bear Cub Baseball. Online registration for the 2012 season will open up on or before
February 15. Our goal is February 1, pending completion of implementation
of new online system this year. Participation is first come, first serve.
Registration will close on March 5, after which time any additional
applicants will be wait listed and there will be a $20 late fee.
The Upper Arlington Bear Cub Baseball League will accept applications by mail, or through the web site (register here
). Applications by mail must be accompanied by a check payable to U.A. Bear Cub Baseball. Space may become limited and spots will be awarded on
a first-received basis. All leagues from K T-Ball & up will receive pants and socks in addition to hats and jerseys. Little Bear T-Ball will receive
helmets, hats, jerseys and trophies. Players in all leagues will receive a team photograph.
Internet registration is now closed. Paper applications can be downloaded and submitted with the $20 late fee, applicants will be put on the wait list & added on a first come first serve basis where space is available.

The goals of the league are to teach baseball, encourage sportsmanship, and have fun in a local community setting. Your child will be assigned to a league according to their grade.

For all 2010 registered kid pitch players who missed the March 14 Evaluation.
There are 2 make-ups. Location is Northam Park diamond 1 (near block house).
SUNDAY MARCH 28 EVALUATIONS (Sunday rain location is the freshman gym at UA High School)
AAA (3rd 4th Grade league): 2pm-3pm
MLB (5th 6th Grage league): 3pm-4pm
TUSDAY MARCH 30 EVALUATION:
All players Not Yet Evaluated: 6:30pm-7:30pm
A player must be evaluated. If you cannot make one of these dates, please contact me to make alternative plans. any player not evaluated will automatically be given the highest rating, and will not be eligible to be drafted. In order to ensure competetive balance of the league, it is extremely important that every player be evaluated.

U.A. Bear Cub Baseball appreciates support from the U.A. Schools and the City of Upper Arlington, but is not sponsored by either.
General Notes:
- Teams will be formed during the last week of March. No refunds will be possible after TBD.
- Refunds require written request with stamped, self addressed envelope send to commissioner.
- Team Rosters will be posted on the website by approximately TBD.
- Because of field availability not all leagues start on the same date.
- Practices will start TBD for the Coach Pitch and Kid Pitch Leagues – coaches will call the players.
- Games begin: Little Bear TBD, Coach Pitch and Kid Pitch TBD, and Tee Ball TBD.
- The regular season will end around TBD; the Coach Pitch and Kid Pitch leagues will have a post-season tournament completed by TBD.
The Coach Pitch tournament is single elimination; Kid Pitch is pool play.
- Each league has player participation requirement rules (assuming that a player has attended team practices).
- Clippers Night (TBD), all BCBB players are allowed to go on to the field prior to the start of the game.
- All-Star teams will be selected for the two Kid Pitch Leagues. The All-Star game will be held TBD. Players selected will have the opportunity to
participate in the UA parade.
- Metal bats with a 2¼ inch maximum barrel are permitted. Big barrel bats and metal spikes are not permitted.
There is a team line (227-TEAM) used during the season to announce cancellations and/or the rescheduling of games due to inclement weather.
